*Big breath out, ahhhhhhhhhhh.*
Inhale peace; Exhale CORONA.
We’re all wondering what it’ll be like transitioning back into life and when this will all be over.
For some, there is no transitioning back; some have lost jobs; some have had the burden of having to impose lay-offs; some have even lost loved ones due to this.
We are all in the midst of uncertainty, however, every single one of us is facing our own challenge with this pandemic.
I believe the best thing we can do right now is stop, take a breath and prepare in Faith that everything will work out for the good.
Because we are all facing our own challenges, this is going to be and look different for everyone.
For some, preparing mentally means having t pray more and get motivated to work twice as hard as you were previously working so that you don’t fall behind; or, simply because this pandemic made you realign your priorities with your goals.
For others, preparing mentally means having to move on from one finished chapter to another.
Neither of which are simple.
For some, proactively seeking opportunity means finding other ways to make money aside from their job or because they lost their job.
For others, this may mean learning to open up to opportunity and having to step outside their comfort zone.
Neither of which, also, aren’t easy.
Although we don’t know much of what will happen in the months to come, I feel that our community will become more resilient in the face of adversity and more connected even in the face of isolation.
For each and every one of us, this is preparation for something great. Even if we don’t immediately see that great “thing”, I am hopeful that if we all individually rise to our personal potentials of resilience, strength and work ethic, we WILL see that great “thing”, whatever “it” may be, and we WILL look back at this pandemic in gratitude.
But for now, all we can do is breathe and take it a step at a time.
